Katie L. Klug

Katie Klug, AttorneyKatherine (Katie) Lauren Klug grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School. Katie received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2012. Before Law School, Katie worked at the Lincoln-Lancaster County Child Advocacy Center for a year as a Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator.

In 2016, Katie received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Nebraska, College of Law. While in Law School, Katie was a member of the Arbitration Competition Team, a member of Women’s Law Caucus, and a member of the Environmental and Agricultural Law Society. During her senior year, Katie was a part of the Family Law Clinic, which provides attorney services to community members for family law matters.

Katie joined the firm as an Associate Attorney at Ballew Covalt Hazen in September 2016. She is licensed to practice in Nebraska and the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska. She will primarily focus her practice on matters involving family law.

Katie and her husband, Jordan, have one daughter, Leighton. Jordan works as a Lineman for Ward Electric. Katie is an avid runner and when she is not spending time with family and friends she enjoys being outdoors, watching reality television, and singing karaoke.
